Room 1 - SUBMIT
Headlining the 2nd Floor of the CLF/Bussey is Houndstooth Recordings Throwing Snow performing live. A tireless & versatile producer, Ross Tones' output spans his ambitious full length LP 'Mosaic', earlier releases for Local Action / Ho_tep that sit beautifully on the edge of House, Garage and Dubstep and his latest Houndstooth EPs showcasing a fervent electro-tinged House and Techno sound that does serious damage on the dancefloor.
Throwing Snow's live show allows him to deliver his varied set of productions with new, off-the-cuff arrangements and live synths / drum programming - making each one of his performances a unique experience for his audience.
In support we have longtime Submit favourite Troy Gunner, a versatile producer and DJ who is responsible for a series of carefully crafted heaters on some seriously high calibre labels (including the likes of Losing Suki, Black Butter, Mindset & The Crescent). Recent collaborations with Woz (WxT) have been causing some havoc, and with plenty of new tracks in the pipeline make sure to keep your eyes on this ever rising Bristol talent.
Completing the bill is Crescent / Voyager label boss, and all around top-class selector, Alex Crescent. Alex's twin labels walk a 'tightrope between bass music, 2-step, dub techno and ambient electronica' (Urban Essence) releasing music from the likes of Rowl, Eleven8, Synkro, Bakradze and of course Troy Gunner.
As always our ever-reliable team of SUBMIT residents are on hand to warm up & close down the dance in style.
Room 2 - Dream Diary
Hosting Room 2 is Brixton based outfit Dream Diary - a new South London record label and party collective founded by four esteemed enthusiasts, drawn together by a mutual love of melodically astute electronic music.
Their aim is to outlet choice cuts of House, Techno and Ambient (pressed to wax) from a selection of upcoming and established artists who share their vision.
DD001 has had massive suport from the likes of Hackman, LTJ Bukem, Boola, Raresh, Ekkohaus, Gorgon City, Axel Boman, Danielle Moore (Crazy P), Renaat Vandepapeliere, Tom Shorterz and Lo Shea, The Revenge, Artifact, Trevino and many more.
For their launch party they have invited current and future Dream Diary artists to join them at the CLF/Bussey - ft. Inxec (live), Afriqua, Maruntelu, Tom Gillieron & Anwar.
