His affiliations with Innervisions and Motor City Drum Ensemble aside, not much is known about Michael. Introspective and sincere, his love-letters speak volume. One would hardly believe that these methodical works were the product of a Canadian artist - born in the hazy spring of 1990.
Monty & Trinidad
[Dazed & Confused]
Both native to Gibraltar and currently the only duo there, Monty & Trinidad, a partnership formed between Jeremy Monteverde & Jesse Trinidad, have an effectual vision when it comes to music, and an intent to pursue it.
Having played with the likes of, Solomun, DJ W!LD, Christian Löffler, Cera Alba and many more at Dazed and Confused parties, they remain consistently humble and have let their music do the talking.
Drawn deep into this diverse soundscape, they have explored musical borders in order to offer a plethora of music in their DJ sets which many describe as melancholy, hypnotic & psychedelic, infusing all genres of underground electronic music from deep baselines, ecliptic melody’s and driving techno, right through to disco enhanced house and afro beat. This certainly discerns them from others in Gibraltar.
Tim Perera
[Balafonica/ Milli Vanilli / Finca]
Founder of Balafonica, recently bringing Pete Herbert to Gibraltar, and resident at Dazed & Confused. Having put on successful nights in the UK for three years straight, inviting DJs such as Tristan da Cunha, OOFT!, Luv Jam, Moonboots and Gnork among others to York, Tim knows how to throw a right party, while he’s also supported the likes of Late Nite Tuff Guy, Tusk Wax and more when on away duties. Now relocated back on the rock with full record collection in haul.
