This year we are taking over Kingdom for our official SXSW party, where Richie Hawtin will perform with support from rising techno star Matrixxman. For those in attendance it'll be a rare chance to catch Hawtin in an intimate setting — Kingdom's capacity is just 150.
We picked March 15th for a good reason: it's the day of overlap between SXSW's Music and Interactive conferences. Hawtin, who will be revealing details of his new mixer, is an artist that crosses between these two worlds.
We suggest getting down early for this one. The party begins at 9 PM and runs through until 4 AM. It will be open to anyone with SXSW accreditation, music festival wristband or artist wristband.
