베를린 테크노의 출발점이였던 클럽 Tresor와 Ostgut의 레지던트 디제이로 활동하면서 지난 20년 동안 전세계 테크노씬에 Sammy Dee라는 이름은 널리 알려져왔다. Sammy Dee는 유럽 전체에서도 유명한 Panorama Bar에서의 "...GET PERLONIZED!" 파티의 주최자로, 레이블 Perlon의 공동 창립자인 Zip과 함께한 ‘Pantytec’, Bruno Pronsato와 함께한 'Half Hawaii' 프로젝트로 활동해왔으며 현재 레이블 ‘Ultrastretch’ 를 운영하며 테크노씬에 공헌해 오고 있다.
그는 절묘한 베이스 라인과 함께 짧게 나누어진 미니멀한 소리들로 표현된 혼돈의 느낌을 그만이 낼수있는 사운드로 완벽하게 구현하며 체계적인 믹싱스킬과 함께 시간을 초월한 음악을 들려준다.
As a resident of Berlin based genesis time venues Tresor and Ostgut, the name Sammy Dee has been around for nearly 20 years in the international Techno circus manège. The Berlin born vinyl fanatic is known for his monthly club night "...GET PERLONIZED!" at Panorama Bar, the creation of ‘Pantytec’ together with his Perlon co-founder Zip and the formation of ‘Ultrastretch’ collective. Apart from his contribution to this ever growing scene his presence grants for systematic mixing skills, subtle bass-lines alongside psychotic tunes and chopped and edgy explorations creating minimal perfection in properly arranged timelessness.
