YO! SISSY is Berlin’s international queer music festival. Taking place over the course of July 29-31 2016 YO! SISSY will transform a number of clubs in the German capital into a weekend wonderland. The theme for this year’s festival is DANCE TOGETHER. We want to encourage performers and audience members from all over the world to join in a celebration of music, dance and performance in the city we call home.
This is the second year of YO! SISSY and PANSY and SCOUT are so ready to bring their collective vision of nightlife and performance to the stage for you. YO! SISSY aims to bridge the gap between burgeoning local artists with established, international acts while focusing on showcasing female and trans-identified performers. Each day of the festival is loaded with awesome music from pop to hip-hop, rock and electro. Expect over 40 live acts, surprise pop-up performances, DJs, MCs, drag kings and queens, plus delicious local food. The best of the best of Berlin’s colorful community!
