For our first foray into Fri-yay we are lucky to have the company of Karousel behind the decks – the new house music alias of good friend Gavin Herlihy.

Karousel (Illusion Recordings)
Karousel is the new alias from Irish producer Gavin Herlihy. Forged in the fires of house and determined by a steely dedication to timeless deep dancefloor theory, the alias begins life on one of the UK's most trusted vinyl labels, Illusion Limited. Gavin started learning to produce in 2005 and less than a year in scored one of the tracks of the year in 2006 with Machine A Homework, a techno opus hailed by Laurent Garnier and DJ Hell as one of the tracks of the year. Over the next few years a move to Berlin lead to gigs at Panorama Bar, Fabric and later Circo Loco and a touring schedule that took him to North and South America, Australia and around Europe. While his productions under his original name took in a variety of different genres and big labels, Karousel is the expression of Gavin's house leanings rooted in the sampling of dusty old jazz and disco records and the use of hardware and vinyl.
Nathaniel Lee (PotKettleBlack)
Nathaniel is one of the co promoter's behind Brass Tacks and one of the DJ's behind the *Pot Kettle Black* brand which started life in the underground depths of East London back in 2009. After hosting parties in Bricklane and Hackney, 2014 saw the rave make its way over to Tisno Occupying the infamous *VoRtEx beach bar*, the worst best kept secret in Croatia.
As always Brass Tacks residents Joe Mitchell, Josh Green and Matthew Jordan complete the line-up. Bringing you the freshest grooves all night long.
