  • GUS & PUSH IT present Kling Klong Records Label Showcase with Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold Martin Eyerer's & Rainer Weichhold's KLING KLONG Records started in 2005 and quickly became one of the world's leading club labels (house, tech-house & techno) with groundbreaking releases from Ninetoes, Kaiserdisco, Nicole Moudaber, Vangelis Kostoxenakis, Dusty Kid, Hermanez, Anton Pieete, Chase Buch & Nick Olivetti, Sidney Charles,... and of course from the two labelowners themselves. But it's not only about single releases as Kling Klong also put out the debut albums from Martin Eyerer, Namito and Oliver Klein with big success. Plus they do label showcases all over the world! And now also for the first time in Belgium, of course only at Café d'Anvers ;-) ■■■ MARTIN EYERER: Since more than 20 years Martin Eyerer travels heavily around the globe as a dj and producer. His more than 100 releases on the hottest labels like Get Physical, Saved, Mobilee, Leena, Ovum, Rennaissance, Buzzin Fly, Great Stuff, Boxer, Audiomatique or logically on his own imprint Kling Klong (which brought out the Ibiza hit 2013 „Ninetoes-Finder“) are bought and played on continents from Australia, Asia to North and South America and of course Europe. Countless sales and other chart positionings as well as media feedback prove that impressively. Plus Gold Albums in UK and Australia and a top 3 US Billboard chart ranking. As a mixing and mastering engineer Martin runs a respectable analog studio since 15 years, which has an established standing specially in the electronic music scene. Among his clients are labels and artists like Mobilee, Watergate Recs, Terminal M, Keine Musik, Stil Vor Talent, Break New Soil, Pan-Pot, Oliver Koletzki, Wankelmut and many more. After moving from Stuttgart to Berlin in August 2012 Martin and his partners Jade Souaid and Tassilo Ippenberger opened together the Riverside Studios - a 1000 m2 complex in the heart of Berlin. With direct river view and the neighborhood to clubs like Bergahin, Watergate, Kater Holzig, Tresor or Weekend it became one of the hotspots of Berlin‘s music scene. Tennants of its 15 studios like Booka Shade, Pan-Pot, Tobi Neumann, Sante, Florian Meindl, Stephan Hinz, Alex Flatner and a few film composers make this complex that special and successful. Of course Martin has his space there, too. On 100 m2 he brought his studio to the next level. The restauration of his legendary Amek M 3000 Console that was formerly owned by Pink Floyd in the seventies completed it surely. ■■■ RAINER WEICHHOLD: Rainer Weichhold started djing a long time ago in the late 80ies with an eclectic mixture of Funk, Hip Hop and Indie. Concering everything techno and house he had his enlightenment listening to the sets of Alex From Tokyo during his stay in France in 1993. Alex showed him how house music can be soulful and made him discover the world of Masters At Work and their NY sound. 1993 was also the year Rainer met and enjoyed Daft Punk for the first time, which obviously also helped him to get into that sound. These days Rainer Weichhold is touring all over Europe with his brilliant mixture of house, techhouse and classics. And be aware, his sets are rocking and making every dancefloor explode. So many years of experience can’t go wrong. But that’s not everything as Rainer Weichhold was also the A&R of the German label Great Stuff Records, where he discovered artists like Gregor Tresher, Butch, Ramon Tapia, Lützenkirchen and many more. The label quickly gained massive respect and plays by the first league of the world’s biggest djs. Since beginning of 2010 Rainer also manages the label Kling Klong records together with his friend Martin Eyerer. 2012 he started his very own imprint called Gold Rcrds and became labelmanger for Terminal M, bouq., Electric Ballroom and Break New Soil. After his very successful debut single “Naked”, he released his first Great Stuff 12” “Infinite Template” (with remixes by Kissy Sell Out and Martin Eyerer) in January 2007, a collaboration with Italian producers and DJs Dandi & Ugo which gained support by countless DJs for example Agoria, Mylo, Gregor Tresher, Oliver Koletzki, Etienne De Crécy. Many other releases on big international labels kept on following: of course on his own label Kling Klong but also on BluFin, Systematic, Kompakt, ...
