After his incredible sold out show last year, Nosaj Thing will be returning on 16th July to stun crowds with an AV performance of material from his upcoming EP NO REALITY.
Chung continues to prove himself as one of LA’s distinguished modern beatmakers. Creating minimal soundscapes that evoke deep, gloomy darkness and silky synths that weave through it. Nosaj’s sound is a reflection of the Shapes recycled industrial atmosphere that Hackney Wick’s warehouses create.
Along with the likes of Shlohmo, Flying Lotus, and their predecessor, El-P, Nosaj creates the down tempo dark smoke of his soothing bass textures by providing possibly his own most subtle verses of his career. Nosaj’s past work with the top tier of his contemporary peers Portishead, Toro Y Moi and Kendrick Lamar, Chung layers spaced out loops with meticulously selected ethereal vocals and guest artist appearances, the most recent of which - Chance The Rapper.
