Guam’s annual Electric Island Festival (EIF) is making a stopover for the first annual “Road to EIF Taipei” on Saturday April 30th at The RIVER (PIPE) sharing the positive vibe and energy of EIF to the Formosa Island. This year’s main event in Guam will feature electronic music acts from around the world showcasing their music and sound to our humble island of Guam. Join Taiwan based artists DJ Cookie, XUAN, and Dominik T. as they embark on their journey to Guam representing their country at the 4th annual Electric Island Festival (EIF) on June 24th & 25th. This special one-night only event aims to bring EIF and Guam awareness to Taiwan party-people and festival-goers while providing a glimpse of what our vibe and culture is all about.
Since Summer of 2013, EIF has quickly become Guam’s most anticipated and electrifying event uniting locals, military, and tourists under the stars for a memorable experience. The radiation of positive energy, vibe, love and a sense of unity is what makes EIF unique and a brand that the future generation has come to embrace. The curation of our “EIF culture” stems beyond the music and parties; we see it as an escape from the difficulties of daily life. Whether it be work, school, finances, family etc. we know that everyone has their own personal struggles. We created EIF to serve as a temporary escape while providing an environment where everyone can be free and let go of their troubles without judgement. Furthermore, we believe that EIF is a movement to not only provide an escape, but to also promote balance in life, respect for local culture, and opportunities for people who are passionate about music and the arts.
