Dark & Lovely Global Roots and Banana Hill team up once again for our quarterly residency with Boiler Room founder Thris Tian and Banana Hill DJs, now flying under the name of Global Roots Soundsystem. Special guest SNO joins us on the warmup.
We take over the Soup Kitchen basement every three months and fill it with sounds old & new from around the world; flamboyant afrobeat from Accra, life-affirming Turkish disco, guttural Detroit techno, deep afrohouse sounds of Durban, percussive madness from Lisboa, Norwegian jazz-house, lush UK neo-soul and everything in between.
