Kid Dub's early influences in music came from rock , reggae , blues , disco & hip hop. During his teen years he participated in numerous heavy metal bands with fusions of disco , jazz , reggae & hip hop which ultimately lead him into drum & bass , 90's industrial & techno. With firm roots within Drum & Bass & IDM - His productions & Dj sets are reminisent of his Drum & Bass days reflecting a passion for high impact energetic and aggressive music whilst still retaining groove & melodic harmonies without being too dark.
Kid Dub’s first Ep. – (The Micro Geniuz E.p. [LNR 004 -2004] ) became an instant favorite with many Dj’s in Germany & landed a No.1 position in Berlin’s Groove Magazine in the Dj charts for the year 2004 – attracting instant attention from many labels which eventually lead to its re-release on Mood Music Records in 2006 with massive support from Sasse, Thugfucker, Berlin Massive Dirt Crew, Ewan Pearson and DJ Naughty amongst others.
Having spent most of his growing years on the move – spending a majority of his time working as a dancer in Singapore’s clubbing scene & performing live techno and Drum & Bass on the side. He then moved to London in 2001, enrolling at London’s SAE. While studying sound recording, a chance meeting with friends in college lead to the formation of Logicalnoise Records which has had several great releases in the last three years of which was The Micro Geniuz Ep.
Kid Dub has since parted ways with Logicalnoise to focus on developing his musical productions and performances & has been producing and remixing material with Kriss Darang & Jnr J's label - Devore Recordings , Demi's - Deeper Substance Records , Ortzroka's imprint - Bicycle Raid , Timo Garcia’s - Berwick Street Records , Marko Bailey's - MB Elektroniks most recently Noir's Noir Music & John Acquaviva's Definitive Recordings.
2007 will see Kid Dub releasing quite a few records & remixes. First up; “Freakz” on Devore Recordings which has already been having massive support from the likes of Martijn Ten Velden , King Roc , Raymundo Rodriguez , Shane Watcha & Mark Wilkinson amongst many others . Following up is a remix for Justin Xara & Art G – “La Discotheque” on Deeper Substance Records.

Since forming back in 2006, Filthy Funk Funk have become a prominent fixture in Europe's clubbing scene!
2007-2008 has been everything it promised. With massive bookings at some of the biggest and best clubs & promotions, including Dusted @ Eden, Hat Club @ Cafe Savannah (Ibiza), Abstract @ The Egg, Dusted @ Canvas, Connected @ Ministry of Sound, Heaven, Pacha and Turnmills (London), as well as Mecca and Duplex in Prague, 7nebe in Brno (Czech Republic), Honey Club in Brighton... the list goes on and on and on! This year they have added 'Shuffle' @ Plug in Sheffield to their list of resindencies, playing alongside some of the biggest names in house music in front of thousands of clubbers every month.
As well as their busy DJing schedule, FFF still manage to find enough time to run their massive monthly electro house night EROTIQUE at Mango in Reading, Vanilla in Windsor and Ghost in Northampton, appearing alongside the likes of Judge Jules, Martijn Ten Velden, Hoxton Whores and Herd & Fitz.
You might see them under their alias 'We are the afterparty' where they merge electro with progressive and even backdoor trance to create a more melodic vibe, without losing the creative flair synonymous with an FFF set.
