We’re extremely humbled and excited to announce DJ Harvey will take over XOYO this August, playing four consecutive Saturdays throughout the month.
It’s been twenty-five years since his first London residency, Harvey’s weekly night ‘Moist’ at The Gardening Club. A pivotal night for London’s club history, it was here where Harvey carved out his position as one of the UK’s most notorious figures in dance music.
Though some prolific New York names joined him (check the likes of Larry Levan); it was Harvey’s marathon six-hour genre-crossing sets that defined the party and him as the revered artist he still is today.
Known as ‘one of the last true party adventurers’ it’s more than an honour to hand over the club to Harvey. Four nights, four parties and each of them DJ Harvey will play all night long in the basement. There’ll be no support DJs, not even in Room 2 - the club is totally his.
We can’t wait to be the next chapter in DJ Harvey’s long relationship with London, a true return to original club culture.
