Following on from our MAMMOUTH website launch party that shook the foundations at PLAN B, HOUSVA again take over the Funktion One sound system with friends and special guests. In keeping with the GOOD VIBES we're bringing to you yet another night of hedonistic musical journey …

SOY MUSTAFA, a purveyor of quality House music and a regular on the DJ club circuit, shall head the decks at HOUSVA’s resident venue, Plan B – renowned for its Funktion One sound system and award-winning cocktails. It will be another forward looking night for HOUSVA... engaging in the very best of deep underground House music with specially selected LIVE saxophone and percussion performances.

Having found the Shack Music Recordings label in 2004, Soy has carved a niche for the label in quality underground dance music whilst gaining worldwide support from esteemed labels such as Soul Heaven and NRK. In addition, the label has seen through releases by likeminded artists such as DJ Technic, Rocco & Liquid People. Kemistry, a production which he has formed together with Alex Celler (Cocoon), was widely recognised for their retake on Rodamaals “Insomnia” for Buzzin’ Fly records and has caused a big stir across clubland! The duo has since forged an undeniably floorfiller signature sound in the name of Kemistry. Soy himself celebrates his recent release "Buzz Parade EP" on Shack Music and another forthcoming ‘Braindrop EP’ on Cinematic. There are more to come and indeed the future seems very exciting for the House music honcho as he is also currently working on a new project with Dennis Ferrer’s friend- Filsonik (Objectivity) and other features with NRK, Freerange, Buzzin’ Fly and Urbantorque. Before heading off to Miami for the World Music Conference, Soy’s sonic sounds and soul drenched beats will keep booty’s shaking at HOUSVA.
?KAY SUZUKI ( b i p o l a r)
Joining him on the decks is Kay Suzuki of b i p o l a r soundsystem, bringing his twisted jazz sound to the dance floor. Being a London-based Japanese Producer/DJ/A&R, Kay has grown up surrounded and influenced by old-school soul, jazz, funk, boogie, Afrobeat, Latin, modern house, broken beat, Detroit techno, and in all musical shades. Whilst having worked with CO-OP for his releases which have received worldwide support from DJs like Giles Peterson, Patrick Forge, Benji B, Jazztronik and more, Kay lends his talent and magic to many successful nights held with his brand b i p o l a r- a creation of his philosophy towards art and human sense and that unmistakable quality grooves thrown and bound to make each and every one of you peeled to the dancefloor asking for more. Kay is currently working on his debut album, due to be released at the end of the year…watch out for more updates on his websites! Very cool guy there!
The night will start and finish off seamlessly by HOUSVA residents Farouk Deen, DJ Kwesi, Kenny Sykes and Leo who will be communicating the HOUSVA essence by holding true to the Housva philosophy of deep, soulful & tribal House music.
