Stepping up for round two of Heidi’s Jackathon series is a resident of North America’s oldest independent venue, a DJ revered as a technician behind the decks. It’s The Black Madonna.
The Black Madonna is known for her dynamic and eloquent DJ sets spanning through Italo, Disco, Techno and House. This, along with her inimitable energy and remarkable ability to connect with the crowd from behind the booth, has earned her a residency at Chicago's Smart Bar (alongside Derrick Carter and Frankie Knuckles) as well as regular slots at Panorama Bar. A vocal feminist and true advocate for the queer community and timeless dance music, the Black Madonna breathes fresh vigour into the Chicago house scene and beyond. We can’t wait to see what she has in store for the Jackathon, and so should you!
