We proudly bring you Anëk, one of the hottest female duos on the planet right now. Denise and Karina originate here from Copenhagen and finally return to their former hometown. Since 2001 they have wasted no time pursuing a career doing what they love most. They are now residents at Steve Lawler's VIVa Warriors parties and favorites at Sankeys Ibiza. They are constantly touring the Globe and keeping themselves busy in the studio with their tracks being released on Moon Harbour, Get Physical Music and VIVa MUSiC to name a few.
Copenhagen house icon Tim Andresen plays the opener in Black Box. He is the founder of our What Happens label and also co-owns the UK-based Savoir Faire Musique. Music has taken him all over Europe, Asia and South America and his DJing skills have not gone unnoticed and resulted in him landing the “Best DJ” award at Club Awards, and “Most Popular Nordic DJ” award by Megamind. His recent production portfolio includes work for Re:FreshYourMind, Younan Music, Ready Mix Records and of course What Happens and Savoir Faire Musique. WH resident Steffen H will step to the decks for the closing set.
Red Box is taken over by UK label Constant Circles. Headlined by Just Her, a heavily in-demand DJ, producer and musician who propelled into the upper reaches of the underground music scene, landing releases with world class labels including Suara, Stil Vor Talent and her own Constant Circles etc, a wealth of chart positions, an Essential New Tune on Radio 1 and gigs all over the world. She is also gaining momentum with her radio shows on Proton and Frisky, which serve as an outlet for her unique brand of deep melodic emotion-filled grooves.
She is joined by Kris Davis, an artist with a love for analogue sounds, meticulous production skills and a flair for crafting intricate soundscapes. Since the release of his first EP on Subjekt Recordings in 2014, Kris has caused quite a stir in the underground community with his unique, emotive style. He is now going from strength to strength as a producer and performer, playing alongside some of the best DJs in the world while also releasing on Soulfooled, Connoisseur, Needwant and Constant Circles of course.
Fast forward to the Danish support acts... Nandu seeks to explore the world of grooves and melodies combined, and try to create a unique deep and refreshing sound. His soundscapes take you from the south American beaches to the cold Nordic winters, from the deepest jungles to the coldest urban settings. Last but not least we bring you his friend and partner in crime Radeckt, fresh from releases on Constant Circles and Samsara Experience.
