Record store, record label, record selectors— Groovedge Record Store knows their stuff. Already an institution in their hometown of Lyon, the French crew is building up their humble bustling city’s scene through a bunch of no bs “house and techno flavors traveling through freaky groove." With a debut album release from MPC boss LB aka Labat hot off the press, a sun-soaked Boiler Room, and tasty 12” from Sentiments, Groovedge is relentlessly turning heads and moving feet.
Via a lengthy string of Facebook messages, emails, and even the generous help of a mututal friend/cousin (s/o Lez!), we’re hosting some of the crew’s core players for an all-night takeover in the East Village. Expect surprise b2bs, booze-filled croissants (TBD), and all the goon vibes you've come to know and love.
