"A svéd fővárosból, Stockholmből érkező DJ és producer Mikael Jonasson neve elsősorban a nyersebb, ipari techno-munkákért rajongók számára csenghet ismerősen.
Több mint másfél évtizedes pályafutása során sikerült elnyernie a keményebb ütemeket kedvelők támogatást és figyelmét, éljenek azok a világ bármely pontján. Eközben persze a techno szcéna egyik legfontosabb szereplőinek egyikévé avanzsált.
Kiadványai olyan címkéknél láttak és látnak napvilágot a mai napig, mint a Drumcode, a Figure, az Octopus Recordings vagy a Phobiq.
Európa szerte fellépett már több legendás klubban, többek közt a berlini Berghain vendége is volt, miközben hétről hétre játszik ugyanazon a színpadon a legnevesebb munkatársakkal, mint honfitársa Adam Beyer, a német Len Faki és az olasz Joseph Capriati.

Keith Carnal zenei ízlését már teenagerként olyan előadók befolyásolták mint a Kraftwerk, a New Order, Donna Summer, valamint Toto és a Dire Straits. Ha a holland srác zenéinek hangzásvilágát kellene jellemezni, akkor szinte pontisan ugyanazt írhatnám róla is mint másik vendégünkről: dinamikus, nyers, ipari techno.
Olyan magas színvonalú produkcióival, mint a Prospect, az Analysis vagy az Untold már pályafutása elején kivívta a szakma elismerését és támogatást. Noha digitális formátumú zenéi már 2011 óta elérhetőek, a komolyabb és lemezen kinyomott megjelenései a Joachim Spieth által alapított német Affin Recordingshoz (egészen pontosan a vinyl only Affin LTD-hez) köthetők.
Zenei pályafutásáról szóló regénye alig néhány éve íródik ugyan, mégis olyan klubok vendége volt már, mint a legendás berlini techno szentély, a Tresor, a Concrete Párizsban és a Fuse Brüsszel városában, valamint zenélt a Kingsday, Solar és Magneet fesztiválokon is.

Mikael Jonasson, based in Stockholm, is a long serving DJ and producer who continues to push the boundaries of modern club music with his amazingly crafted, rather rare techno productions. With recent releases on labels like Drumcode, Figure, Octopus Recordings and Phobiq, Mikael has earned the support and attention from the key players all around the globe. With a busy schedule of gigs all around Europe, including several stops at legendary Berghain in Berlin, Mikael have had the pleasure of sharing stage with talented colleagues such as Adam Beyer, Len Faki and Joseph Capriati.
Starting out as a drummer in early years, attending municipal music education, led to the later interest in electronic music. Being a part of the Swedish rave culture in the late 90´s, Mikael started to collect pretty much every analogue synthesizer he could afford. What started out as experimental sounds evolved and matured over the years into music, and back in 1999, Mikael´s first vinyl was released.
Hard struggle in the studio and behind the decks, in combination with being a highly sought after producer in the international techno-scene, has resulted in a variety of high quality releases topping the techno charts over a significant period of time. At the moment Mikael continues to build his own intricate sound, characterised by expert sound design and his attention to details. Heavy supported by fans, radio-stations and DJs around the globe, Mikael´s journey continues.

Keith Carnal is one of the most important rising (raw) techno talents of this moment. His high quality productions got massive support from top-artists on tracks like “Analysis“, “Prospect“ and his biggest hit “Untold“, all released on AFFIN Recordings.
With shows including legendary clubs like Tresor Berlin, Concrete Paris, Fuse Brussels, as well as festivals like Kingsday, Solar and Magneet – furthermore in domiciles like Dubai, Tunisia and Malta – he always presents his own interpretation of sound all around the globe.
Early influenced by groundbreaking artists like Kraftwerk, New Order and Donna Summer, as well as Toto and Dire Straits – his style can be typed as a combination of massive basses with catchy melodies and energetic, underground vibes. Rough, but not flat and, constantly innovating: deep Techno.
Or as Keith’s says with his own words: „Techno is something you only understand if you have experienced the real deal. It’s about losing yourself, coming together and letting go, all in one night. For me techno can encompass all emotions, whether it is happiness, sadness or even anger. Techno is more for me than just playing and making tracks, it’s a language that overcomes words, differences and race – an unspoken language of unity.“
