#Saveourculture 1

  • The #saveourculture series launches on the weekend of fabric’s 17th birthday with some of the world’s biggest DJs coming together for an unprecedented all-nighter at London’s Great Suffolk Street. Arch 1 sees three close friends and longstanding DJ partners collaborating for a rare three-way set. One of dance music’s most charismatic faces, the inimitable Seth Troxler will present his infectious personality via his crates of sultry house records. Joining him will be respected digger, London veteran Craig Richards. A master in versatility and obscurities, his selections demonstrate the pursuit of DJing as an art form that only comes with years of knowledge and experience from playing weekly at one of the world’s most important nightclubs. The main room bill is rounded off with a session in sonic wizardry as we prepare for an insight into the world of electronic music’s most celebrated minimalist, Ricardo Villalobos. Revellers should expect an evening filled with exotic percussive rhythms and left-turn surprises as the absorbing trio join forces for this special event. Arch 2 hosts a full-on techno session with two Berlin titans heading the proceedings. An icon for the sound and mainstay at revered institution Berghain, Ben Klock comes to present his brand of pulsating 4/4 that helped cement his status as one of the world’s most iconic DJs. He is joined by Rødhåd, the boss of Dystopian and loop techno aficionado whose blend of unrelenting pace and melody has seen him ascend to becoming a figure at the very top ranks of techno today. Ben Klock and Rødhåd play alongside fabric mainstay, Wiggle founder, and king of tech-house oddities, Terry Francis. All profits for the night will be donated to fabric’s #saveourculture campaign. -- Important information and advice ahead of the party on Saturday: Please be sure to bring enough cash with you on the night, all the bars in the venue are cash only.
