Cakes Da Killa brings his "Hedonism" album launch to the Camden Assembly on Friday 18 November. This 25 year old rapper is an integral piece of the Jersey club scene who's been turning heads thanks to his rapid-fire rhymes and witty edge. With a debut album out on October 21st that's bound to radically rewrite hip hop's rulebook, Cakes is a talent not to be slept on.
Supporting the album launch is one of ballrooms biggest talents and vogue pioneer, Vjuan Allure. Entering the New York clubbing scene at a young age, Allure is a talent that's steeped in dance music history. Being the beatmaker behind the twist on Masters At Work’s “The Ha Dance” thats in every voguer's playlist, he's an influential player in the scene. Trax Couture label head Rushmore and NTS DJ Akito round off the bill.
