Since 2003 Jens B. Christiansen has been producing challenging yet melodic electronic music under the moniker Rumpistol, so far resulting in 5 albums, 3 EPs plus lots of remixes of acts like Efterklang, System, Indians & Blue Foundation. Rumpistol has performed his detailed signature sound and genre crossing music at festivals and venues all across the world.
He has created game and TV scores, live soundtracks and appeared in various improvised setups and constellations with artists and orchestras such as Ane Trolle, Red Baron, F.S.Blumm, Copenhagen Philharmonics, John LaMonica, Kohei Matsunaga aka NHK Koyxen & Kalaha. Rumpistol has gained wide acknowledgement from everyone from John Peel and Laurent Garnier to Om Unit, Tipper and The Wire.
Rumpistol also runs the record label Rump Recordings which is known for its beautiful electronica releases - But for this event he will perform a dancefloor orientated live set supported by Unkwon, one of Copenhagen's rising stars, plus the local talent Skarn! While in Red Box we've got a line up of some of Denmarks finest house music producers and DJs: Flip, Denis Horvat and Blagger!
