• A longtime collector of music, Recondite had his first experience with drum machines and hardware synths just a few years ago in a small studio next to the forest in lower Bavaria. It wasn’t long after that he moved to Berlin to build up Plangent Records, where the artist rapidly established his name. "On Acid", his full-length debut, was delivered in 2012 via the sleek Los Angeles imprint, Acid Test. The Absurd Recordings sublabel had already featured revered releases from Donato Dozzy and Tin Man, and Recondite’s LP garnered a great deal of positive feedback from the press and major producers alike. Continuing to release on his own Plangent series, he also put out the EC10 EP on Dystopian in early 2013. Progressively, this all lead up to his sophomore LP and first release on Ghostly International, Hinterland. The record acknowledges the finests moments in his previous releases, and ultimately creates what he believes is something that captures the personality of Rottal-Inn – a district in southeastern Bavaria, Germany and his hometown... By releasing further EPs on Innervisions and on Dystopian as well as at his worldwide live gigs he keeps proving his skills and versatility. Oliver Kargl aka. RNDM started DJing in a tiny club in the western part of Austria called Stone Club around 1998. Coming from an indie and punk background he found his way to house and techno through the music of Detroit and Chicago. After moving to Vienna in the late 90’s he was highly influenced by the scene of the city at that time. Labels like Cheap, Grow, Central and the rather experimental sounds of Mego led onto a more abstract approach to creating music. During this time he studied with Austrian sound artist/architect Bernhard Leitner for three years, intensifying his interest in experimental music, and went on to complete his Masters degree with contemporary sculptor Erwin Wurm. 2004 Oliver started working together with Phillip Sollmann aka. Efdemin on their analog focused live project PIGON which tried to represent a contemporary approach to classic house and techno. They released several EPs so far on Dial Records the Hamburg techno imprint and played many live shows all over Europe. After moving to Berlin in 2006 he became one of the few artists to get in the tight knit Dial records collective. The frantic record collector soon began to play with the likes of Lawrence, Carsten Jost, Efdemin and many others and since then the allround music enthusiast is a regular guest in clubs all over the world. The two Germans are supported by Icelandic DJ Primal while Concealed Sounds returns to Red Box. This time around Concealed Sounds breaks the tradition a bit and decided to invite one of their favourite local DJs, Jesper Mygind. A very talented and dedicated under the rader artist... Expected to be taken on a musical journey through all kinds of genres, grooves and sonic landscapes. Jesper is of course flanked by resident DJ Martinez!
