La prima volta dagli Underground Resistance, Jeff Mills forma una nuova band.
Una Electronic Jazz Fusion composta da musicisti affermati di grande esperienza: il leggendario componente degli Underground Resistance e tastierista nella scena Gerald Mitchell (UR / Los Hermanos), la rocker giapponese Yumiko Ohno (Buffalo Daughter / Cornelius) al sintetizzatore Moog e il bassista giapponese, newyorkese d'adozione, Kenji "Jino" Hino, figlio di Terumasa Hino, il famoso trombettista jazz.
Spiral Deluxe è una speciale performance di improvvisazione creata da Jeff Mills per il progetto di Exhibitionist 2 DVD. Con un tempo limitato di preparazione e per le prove, l'obiettivo della band è di creare, modellare ed eseguire composizioni di fronte al pubblico dal vivo.
Debutto a Tokyo, 18 settembre 2015 al Terrada Warehouse durante TodaysArt festival, le registrazioni dal vivo sono state fatte a Kobe, in Giappone la notte seguente il 19 settembre 2015 al Kobe Art Village Center.
Con questo primo vinile chiamato "Kobe Session", Jeff Mills ha pianificato il lancio di "Axis Audiophile Series", una serie di registrazioni di alta qualità: su vinili di 180g, offrendo un suono in 32-bit / 48kHz.

First time since Underground Resistance, Jeff Mills has created a new band.
An Electronic Jazz Fusion one alongside established musicians with extensive background: the legendary keyboardist leader in the electronic music scene Gerald Mitchell (UR/ Los Hermanos), the Japanese rocker Yumiko Ohno (Buffalo Daughter/Cornelius) handling Moog synthesizer and the Japanese bassist, new-yorker by adoption, Kenji “Jino” Hino who is none other than Terumasa Hino ‘s son, the worlwide famous Jazz trumpeter.
Spiral Deluxe was a special improvisational performance created by Jeff Mills for the Exhibitionist 2 DVD project. With a limited amount of preparation and rehearsal time, the objective of the band was to create, shape and perform compositions in front of a live audience setting.
Debuting in Tokyo, Sept 18 2015 at Terrada Warehouse during TodaysArt JP, a live recordings was captured in Kobe, Japan the following night on September 19th 2015 at Kobe Art Village Center.
With this first vinyl called “Kobe Session“, Jeff Mills planed to launch the "Axis Audiophile Series", a series of high-quality recordings: this will be some vinyls of 180g, delivering a sound encoded in 32-bit/48kHz.
