Second Story is a series of parties hosted by Chapter 24 co-founders and resident DJs Más Black and Sam Pauli, upstairs at The Horse & Groom in Shoreditch.
It's a chance for the label's friends and family, both old and new, to get together, socialise and dance to the sounds of melodic house and techno with heart and soul.
Every other month, Marcus and Sam invite a special guest to join them in providing the soundtrack to the night.
Alex Zed, our guest for November, has been a part of electronic music and club culture for over 15 years. Originally from Sicily, Alex moved to London aged 25 and began to organise weekly underground parties. Since then, he has played to numerous dancefloors across Europe and beyond. Alex's musical style reflects his eclectic influences, combining deep and tech house and techno to create a unique sound. In 2013, he launched Inside Out Records and in 2016 he marked his first appearance on Chapter 24 with a brace of great tracks, including 'Over My Head' feat. Billie Fountain.
The Horse & Groom has over the years forged an enviable reputation as one of the leading destinations for great electronic music in the heart of East London, offering a warm, intimate and inclusive atmosphere.
Come for a couple of beers and a catch-up with friends, or stay and dance with us until the small hours. The music starts from 10pm - entry is free before then, with a £3 paying guestlist before midnight (£4 until 1am), or £5 for general entry.
