Sublevel has been dedicating their energy and vibes for the last 15 years in creating one of the most revered events in Los Angeles. Lead by co-creators Doc Martin and Lillia Mendoza (Sublevel Live), Sublevel has remained the "must attend" event on the West Coast. Throughout the year when Doc & Lillia are not busy hosting their own events, you can find them headlining at festivals and clubs across the world. From Romania to Mexico and places in between, they spread their good vibes and love for music with everyone they come in contact with. Back home in Los Angeles now, the duo are preparing for their most anticipated event of the year, Sublevel Space Explorer NYE celebration!
Celebrated by thousands throughout the years, Space Explorer is going on their 15th year, and what way to celebrate then to invite some of their closest friends & colleagues to accompany them on the bill. Joining them is Chicago jock, and jet-setter, Dj Sneak. 'Sneak' is another globe trotting, touring dj that has made Ibiza his home in recent years. Sneak has residencies at the islands most well known venues; Pacha Ibiza, Amnesia, and Space Ibiza. In October, Sneak was given the nod by Carl Cox to join him at his closing party at Space Ibiza. That night has been embedded into hundreds of thousands of viewers from all over the world due to the live stream. When Doc and Sneak get together behind the decks something magical happens. The energy, vibe, and music takes off to another level and just can't be compared to or duplicated by anyone. Their 2x4 sets at Sunwaves (Romania), BPM (Mexico), Mint (Manchester UK), and Sublevel (LA) have left fans craving for more. Also on the bill is Mark 'Blakkat' Bell, one of house music's most ubiquitous producers/djs. Aside from putting out a number of dance floor, rocking tracks that have garnered respect and notice from the elites of the world, Blakkat recently produced the full-length album for FOMO: featuring the queen of funk, Chaka Khan, and her siblings, Taka Boom and Mark Stevens. Last, but definitely not least, we welcome G-Dubbs. The mastermind behind Sacred Grounds, G-Dubbs, has carved his place in the world of house music history by producing some of the best events in his native city of Los Angeles for the last 20 plus years. When G-Dubbs is not producing his own events you can catch him behind the decks rocking dance floors across Southern California. So, be sure to join us and experience the magic that will take place on the eve of 2017 at Union Nightclub.
Space Explorer will be taking you on a 12 hour exploration through site, sound and vibes. Launching at 8pm the 31st and returning to Earth at 8am January 1st. This is a 21 and over experience you don't want to miss!
