Mid Atlantic Leather Weekend (MAL) is the high holiday of fetish and kink in DC when loads of people (who are mostly gay) convene for a 3 day weekend of harnesses, parties & queer camaraderie. You don't have to be into leather to party, and you don't have to identify as gay to attend, but remember that the artists and promoters involved have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to racism, homophobia, sexual harassment, misogyny, sexism, chauvinism, etc....

HORSE MEAT DISCO, comprised of residents James Hillard, Jim Stanton, Luke Howard and Severino Panzetta, is a club night and DJ collective whose legend has become a UK institution on both sides of the sexual divide due in large part to its dedication to and appreciation of disco music in all its forms. Since their humble beginning 12 years ago, the party was London’s earliest and largest night to bring back the classic disco sound of New York's bath houses and gay clubs from the '70s. The collective has garnered a unique reputation for amazing parties and unmatchable sets, the quartet of DJs each mixing their own individual quality blend of disco juice with all manner of dancefloor gems! The music, along with the inclusive and enormously fun vibe, struck a chord both in and out of the gay scene, attracting an enviable roster of guest DJs. The club’s ethos has always been to provide a queer space for everyone…after all, the best parties have always been the ones where the crowd comes from all walks of life. A series of seminal compilations, a New York residency, a wholly unique party at Glastonbury, plus appearances at Bestival and Lovebox have also spread to HMD leading festivals around the globe, including Vivid and Future Music Festival in Australia, Electric Elephant, PS1, Ibiza & San Francisco Pride.They have a hugely successful compilation series on K7! A household name in the electronic scene of Washington DC, DJ Lisa Frank has garnered an almost cult like following in the electronic world of our nation's capital and it is easy to see why after catching her spin live. A steady dance floor seems to be inseparably paired with her hard hitting house and techno sets.
The NeedlExchange (TNX) is a DJ collective from Washington, DC, comprised of Baronhawk Williams, Bil Todd & Tommy Cornelis. They celebrate the freedom in the groove.
