EC1 prepares for an evening of on-point house music as AUS 10 Years of Aus Music lands in Room One. Having put out some of the dancefloor’s biggest moments of the last decade, AUS has earned a status both coveted and respected for their brand off bass-informed house. Showcasing their sound in the disco will be honcho Will Saul, as well as dynamic 3024 head Martyn and Houndstooth affiliate Marquis Hawkes. Rounding off Room one is the producer behind one of 2016’s best full lengths in ‘There is no Time’; Youandewan.
Room Two then sees the return of fabric 23 compiler Ivan Smagghe. A collector and digger with a career spanning two decades, Smagghe’s off kilter and eclectic techno persuasion remains as definitive now as his very first appearance in EC1. Smagghe is joined by the electro furnished sounds of Omnidisc head Danny Daze. The bill is rounded off with a special appearance from London selector and curator of the revered Chapter 10 party, Dan Beaumont.
