The last third night of The Shelter, Lost Cargo collaborated with 3eyesnuts and FLUX visual design team, has set up a special light act for the evening. Expecting MIST’s head Cvalda [Chengdu], to present a dark Ambient live debut controlled by Kinect; and LJ, plus Rasrankin MC bringing a starch live performance. Funk-afrobeat-disco king Santo Chino, two bass warriors Gunknown and Darphy from theBoringRoom [Xian], alongside with Rasrankin and Aivilox, to cover the rest of the music genres.This is how we say goodbye.:)
Cvalda：“The live show is taken from the 3000 live show I did at the NUART festival early this year. Its like a dark Ambient set, I want to express something more abstract and chaotic, with deep thoughts behind. The original version is 30 minutes, this time will be lengthened to 45 minutes. I will add some recent experimental elements that Ive been studied. For example, I am going to use Kinect to connect to Ableton through Max For Live, so I can use my body to control the music, just like playing games at home! Not really sure but lets have some experiment!”

Darphy - Electronic music group theBoringRoom’s youngest members. He took the concept of the traditional 4/4 dance music in a very strange way, but guaranteed to deliver the most orthodox fresh blood to the dance floor. This is his first time left Xi'an playing music, Darphy specially prepared some his beloved Gqom Grime, Bass, Club and some heavy bass music. He is the future of the Changan Town.

Gunknown- aka Dazhao, the backbone of Xian City’s underground electronic music scene. Before forming theBoringRoom crew, he has been involved in the local club scene for many years. Always trying to play some fresh but odd music at all sorts of places. People love him, think his set is really great but difficult to dance with. (Well…lets see about that.) He has been thinking about performing at The Shelter since day one, this time is a total dream come true for this guy!

LJ comes from Guiyang, the 2012 DMC national champion, has been committed to DJ Scratch technology research and Turntablism promotion for many years. He has acquired a reputation in his music filed due to his solid professional skills, he is also one of the loyal supporters of the shelter. He has prepared a special scratch live show, along with brother Rasrankin MC, will lead us to walk into Hiphop rainforest, some mysterious guests will also join to the blast!
Santo Chino comes from Miami and currently lives in Shanghai, one of the biggest records collectors in town. He plays funk, soul, Schizoid Electronic and disco music, with a little twist of funky 70s rock and some deep house and 80s obscurities. Listening to his long set is a kind of soul enjoyment. At the moment he is running a monthly session called Space Out, go check out.
RASRANKIN is also from Guiyang, with a early rock music background, he is currently running a place called LOCAL. Since founded “Organic Music Radio" since 2012, he has hosted more than hundreds of music cultural events, warmed up for international names like ERIC LAU, TIPPA IRIE, U BROWN and so on. Have been promoting roots rhythm to local peeps for years, he has deeply influenced by slum styles, Hiphop and rocksteady.
