The guy behind one of 2016’s best mixtapes, Jamie Isaac has fast become one of London’s rising stars. Rubbing shoulders with the likes of King Krule and Rejjie Snow, his music shares the same kind of South London sensibility with a clear love of dusty jazz samples and Rhodes grooves.
Influenced by everyone from jazz pianists like Dave Brubeck to The Beach Boys, Jamie’s record bag covers all corners of soul, funk, hip hop and disco. Master of Breakbeat, Trip Hop and Nu Jazz- Maxwell Owin, also joins the bill for Friday 23rd June.
