Pickle and Box Cutter join hands to present a double dose of live action from French heat seekers The Pilotwings and J-Zbel this March.
Consisting of Guillaume Lespinasse and Louis De La Gorce, The Pilotwings blend together an informed variety of dance styles and influence into a distinct sound that has seen releases on Brothers From Different Mothers and Macadam Mambo. Their output so far has ranged from lush pads infused over worldly percussion to healthy doses of jack with big tropical tendencies. We can’t wait to hear the diversity of sound on a live platform.
Following through the smoke left behind are the unknown tri-force, J-Zbel, who will take the mood into subterranean territories with dreamy break laden melters dipped in acid and rolled up in a jungle blanket. If you haven’t yet felt it you sure as heck will.
