For our next big outing, we're welcoming three of Brooklyn's finest selectors, each of whom hails from a scene that is currently hitting peak boil.
Justin Cudmore, Bunker resident and one third of the trio Hot Mix, will be letting the tides of acid flow for us during peak hours. Justin's recent 12" "Forget It" on Bunker has been garnering rave reviews from all those hard-to-please critics, and he's always impeccable behind the decks.
Next, Bossa resident, Max McFerren, and Lover's Rock label head, Ital, will be putting together 5 hours of genre-spanning techno, ambient, IDM, and worldwave. Max's recent cut from BK comp Physically Sick, "Well Tempered Ecstasy," is a drop-your-tecate instant dance floor hit. Ital, co-head of the world famous summer dance kibbutz, Sustain-Release, will be sure to keep it dark, heady, and infinitely various as we chug on into early morn.
As always, Mr. Nails and Mr. Wax will be manning the decks as the pumpkins turn to stagecoaches.
