For our next evening of electronic musical beats, we’ve invited down two of our favourite young talents in the game and are pleased to announce another Scottish debut, this time for Luxembourg born, weird house producer and DJ Cleveland. Playing Live for your listening pleasure.
Cleveland of John Talabot’s Catalan imprint Hivern Discs has a strong catalogue of releases already, also having put music out on WHITE and Permanent Vacation. His tracks have such a unique sound to them, blending angular synthy lines and crisp drum work, this is sound perfectly showcased on his 2016 release Atlas and it’s because of this that we’re so excited to hear him play some of these tracks live for us.
Along with Cleveland we’ve asked Night of the Jaguar resident and Optimo Music man Mr TC to come down to contribute to the soundtrack of the evening. Thomas too is another who’s output we’ve been loving of late, with dark, psychedelic themes through his tracks, again we’d be hard pressed to think of someone that pulls of that sound as well as Thomas does. His DJ sets tend to lean towards this darker side, while still having a strength in depth when it comes to his collection to rock a dancefloor without playing any well-known or big moment tracks.
