On Saturday April 15th, Atrium Productions celebrates the launch of Retrograde, the newest series in our repertoire of concept events. Starting at 11pm, come join us at Armando Records, located at 30 NE 14th street, Miami, FL 33132 for a journey through sound and space!
Retrograde coincides with the astrological phenomenon that takes places every 3-4 months when the planet Mercury goes retrograde, and appears to move backwards in the night sky. Since the planet Mercury rules communication, astrologers warn against using electronics, signing contracts, starting new relationships or making any important decisions since the energies tend to go a little haywire.
This is a time to regress, and we will be setting the scene for you to do just that. We’ve infused 3D-mapped projections with artistic décor to transform the inside of Armando Records into a distant planet surrounded by remote galaxies and stars. Joining this voyage will be star DJ/producer Subb-an, an internationally acclaimed artist from Berlin, Germany best known for treading the line between techno, minimal, and European house music.
Stepping out of the vibe filled main room you will find yourself in an ambient sound garden where you can take a moment to relax with a massage or listen to the sounds of quartz crystal singing bowls in a show by Sam Rivero. Also joining the event roster is acclaimed light astrologer & energy healer Roman Oleh Yaworsky who will be offering horoscope and chart readings to those who really want to indulge.
