Last October’s ‘80s dance party at Bang the Drum was packed…PACKED! We shocked a lot of people with the turnout, and of course we were more than thrilled to share the music and the party vibes with all who were in attendance.
Since that party, people have been asking for more, and sometimes even asking more than once! Well the time has come to bring you “Hang the DJ 2.” (Sorry….no “Electric Boogaloo” allowed.)
We plan to up the ante with another dose of the fun, the deep, the obscure, the most you can handle of ‘80s from serious music geeks who know the period like the back of their hands. We have plenty of surprises under our belts with music you might have forgotten, or maybe have never even heard of. We're aiming high, to deliver you one hell of a party.
Joining returning selectors Mike Funk and Velanche will be another great local DJ, Gabbyhey, and introducing Steph in her first DJ appearance. We hope that you’ll join in to have fun with us.
If you want, wear your costume! We have prizes in store for ya. Don’t be afraid to put on your goth, new wave outfit, or whatever ‘80s style fits.
Tickets will soon be available through Eventbrite, but you can also buy them at the door.
