At its basis, SUPERBOOTH17 remains what made the last event so special in 2016: a colorful, lively, passionate organized trade fair, with workshops for beginners and advanced users, roundtables and product presentations. In addition to the exhibition stands, there will once again be around 25 daily concerts and live performances with artistic representatives of all genres of electronic music. The 170 exhibitors coming from more than 20 countries include long-known companies like Yamaha, Korg and Roland but there will be a lot more small and ambitious companies like Mutable Instruments, Verbos Electronics, Sequentix, Vermona, Oscillosaurus and many more.
The concerts and presentations will be held from 1 p.m. on and will last until the later evening. We are very happy to be able to present another outstanding lineup. This year we will create significantly more space for Women's electronic music. After the SOOPERtalk, two thirds of the nightly program is female-cast. Daily at 1:30 p.m. basic courses by and for Women only are taking place at the Eve-Audio Lounge, with Jessica Kert of SchneidersLaden defining the principles of subtractive synthesis where every day we will have experienced female musicians as guests to explain Examples of usage on location.
We will have additional workshops, which are open to everyone and give you the opportunity to build your own synthesizer module or even whole musical instruments. These workshops will be professionally hosted from 11 a.m. and will be held by exhibiting companies like Moog, 4MS and Leaf Audio. You can buy tickets for the workshops on superbooth.com and you don’t need an additional Trade Fair ticket. Although we absolutely recommend attending at another day to enjoy everything else SUPERBOOTH17 has to offer and we also recommend staying for the evening program and enjoy the special concerts and talks we are planning.
Binding bookings for the DIY workshops are now available and limited to 16 participants each. The cost for participation in the DIY workshops depends on individual construction kit prices. All other workshops thru out the day (incl. 1 p.m.) may be reserved with your standard visitor ticket as long as places are available.
The entire lower foyer and outdoor areas will be freely accessible and offer individual workrooms, educational stands and outside facilities for meeting, eating and experiencing a high level of live performances.
Similar to last year, a live stream running from 12 a.m. to 12 p.m. will be provided for absent but interested parties, however, this time representing ALL relevant concerts and presentations. For the night hours there will be more program at C-Base, in the Maze Club (Thursday & Friday) and on the final night at Ohm in Tresor.
