It must have been a scene in some film, or perhaps just a bad dream: a human being, perhaps yourself, is trapped in a middle of an isolated chamber. There are no windows and no door. Just a clock ticking, and with every tick, the walls come closer, diminishing the space, pillaging the air. You can't avoid feeling the pressure, which then becomes fear. You wish to wake up and find yourself in a safe bed, but is it indeed only a dream or a deja vu from a bad movie?
Admit it, there's probably nowhere to run to anymore. Even Berlin isn't what it used to be. No more freelancing a few hours a week, starting your weekend on Thursday and ending it on Monday. The walls are drawing closer and the ever grey clouds are slowly gathering above the city's night life skies.
Looking to all corners for refuge only makes your stomach shrink faster. Looking up won't do much as well - it never did.
Looking down, you notice a small blue pill. You pick it up, close your eyes, and swallow it at once.
Time stands still. The walls as well. Your body becomes light and the tall concrete ceiling dissolves by its own, turning into a million shiny white dust specks. You ascend higher and higher. Soon enough the chamber of despair becomes nothing but a memory to oppress.
Your mind is off but the destination is clear. You know god damn well that this moment can't last forever and the question, where it could longest last is a predestined one.
We continue our hedonistic experiment and once again, we remain careful in defining the borders of expression: whether on the dance floors or in our play stations, we are paving the roads for you to march on and discover who you really are, who you really can be.
As always, our musical journey is divided to Four Plays:
► The Energy Floor will be the place to charge you with all the load you need to keep up this journey. Punchy kick drums and sharp synthersizer chords that practically force your body to respond. Be passive, the sound will do the job for you.
► The Live Floor is where your feedback is necessary. Those are not pre-produced tracks you'll be hearing, but a live orchestrated parade of sounds and percussions. It's your own energy that the artists require. Be sure to give it to them.
► The Dark Floor is where you hide from truth you're not yet ready to expose. Cold, dark Techno, hammering a metal construction and that obscure forest decoration. Walk around, smell the stuffed air and feel comfortable to do what ever you need to do in the custody of the Mrs. darkness.
► The Fun Floor is where serious DJs play not so serious music. Berlin can be too harsh and accurate in its search for electronic perfection. However, life, and party, must not be so strict. You are also allowed to enjoy hiphop, and who knows what.

We feel that we have to calm some people down regarding the dress code issue. First, it is important to stress out that the Four Play party is not a sex party or a fetish party or a swinger party or a queer party. If anything, the Four Play is a project meant to allow people to experiment in any of those without feeling the pressure to adhere to prescribed norms within those scenes. Therefore, when we ask you to avoid coming with casual streetwear, all we wish is for you to think about what you perceive as sexy and special, and to feel comfortable with whatever you choose. This obviously means that for many of you, latex and leather won't be a first a choice, and for others, a swimsuit, a pair of shorts or even a funny costume would be best to reflect your mood in such event. Go for it, we say, and don't be afraid of some arbitrary, hard selection - we honestly don't believe in those <3

Es muss eine Szene aus einem Film gewesen sein, oder doch nur ein seltsamer Traum? Du siehst einen Menschen, gefangen in einem leeren Raum. Es ist dunkel, keine Türe, keine Fenster, kein Licht. Wer ist dieser Mensch? Bist du das?
Alles was du hören kannst ist das leise Ticken einer Uhr. Mit jeder verstreichenden Sekunde spürst du, dass die die Wände näherkommen. Es ist der Raum selbst der dich langsam versucht zu erdrückt und du fühlst wie die Luft immer dünner wird.
Ein Gefühl von Furcht steigt langsam in dir auf. Es steigt aus deinem tiefsten Inneren hervor, oder war es schon immer da? Du wünschst dir nichts als einfach aufzuwachen in deinem Bett, in Sicherheit. Doch war es wirklich nur ein Gefühl? Ein schlechter Traum? Ein Déjà-vu?
Vielleicht fühlst auch du, dass Berlin dir nicht mehr die Möglichkeit bietet all dem zu entfliehen, abzutauchen und dieses Gefühl in dir zu verbannen. Ein kleines Freelancer-Projekt hier, ein wenig Kellnern da und schon ist wieder Donnerstag: Wochenende, keine Sorgen und Traumtanzen bis Montag. So einfach ist es nicht mehr und du fühlst wie die Wände wieder näherkommen.
Du schaust in jede Ecke deines Raums, du suchst nach einer Fluchtmöglichkeit und merkst, dass der vermeidliche Traum garkeiner war. Du schaust nach oben, es hilft nichts, es hat noch nie etwas geholfen.
Du schaust nach unten und bemerkst eine kleine blaue Pille. Ohne nachzudenken hebst du sie auf, schließt die Augen und schluckst sie hinunter.
Die Zeit steht still, das Ticken ist weg. Die Wände haben aufgehört sich zu nähren. Dein Körper wird leicht. Du schaust wieder zur Decke und merkst, dass der kalte Beton risse bekommt. Durch die Risse dringt Licht und der Raum beginnt zu zerfallen. Nun stehst du wieder im Licht und der Raum ist nicht mehr als eine dunkle Erinnerung, ein schlechter Traum, ein Déjà-vu.
Grade noch beschäftigt mit tausenden Gedanken ist dein Geist nun leicht und befreit. Dein Ziel ist klar: du weißt, dieses Gefühl kann nicht ewig halten und die einzige Frage ist, wo es am längsten währen kann.

Wir haben das Gefühl, einige Leute im Bezug auf die Sache mit dem Dresscode etwas beruhigen zu müssen. Die Four Play Party ist keine Sexparty, keine Fetischparty, keine Swingerparty, keine Gayparty. Four Play ist ein Projekt, das Leuten erlaubt sich in allem auszuprobieren, ohne den Druck an einem der genannten Normen dieser Szenen festhalten zu müssen. Wenn wir euch also bitten keine Alltagsklamotten zu tragen, wollen wir einfach, dass ihr darüber nachdenkt, was für euch sexy und besonders ist. Fühlt euch wohl, in dem was ihr tragt! Für viele werden da Leder und Latex nicht die erste Wahl sein, für andere sind Badeanzug, Shorts oder sogar ein witziges Kostüm die beste Art, sich bei so eine Party auszudrücken. Also sagen wir, macht worauf ihr Bock habt und habt keine Angst vor einer willkürlicher, harten Tür - von so was halten wir ehrlich gesagt nichts <3
