Café del Mar is an iconic chill out bar in the heart of Ibiza. What started on the sunny shores of Ibiza in 1980 for a summer of music & sunsets, became famous as the home of Ibiza's clubbing scene with superstar DJ's and stunning sunsets remaining today as one of Ibiza's top hot spots.
Angelica is extremely proud and very excited to be the very 1st in the UK to host the iconic Café Del Mar Ibiza for a spectacular summer pop up series, kicking off the series with a very special launch party on Bank Holiday Sunday 28 May. The epitome of summer is being on a water’s edge on a sun-kissed Sunday afternoon. Now picture yourself closing out the weekend, high above the Leeds skyline gallivanting from daybed to dance floor. The sun sets on a stunning view, yet this is only a backdrop as you’re immersed in a setting of soul-charged vibrations, spawned by a Balearic soundscape.
Angelica & Café del Mar Ibiza invite you to experience the 2017 summer season at Café Del Mar Sunday Sessions, every Sunday from 2pm till 10pm, featuring Sara Garvey alongside a stellar cast of local and international guests. A fresh pop-up event for the Leeds summer, Café Del Mar Sunday Sessions promise to give Leeds something to smile about. The pop event will run from 28 May 2017 until August 2017.

Known for penning elaborate, emotive and intelligent soundscapes, drawing influences across a spectrum of cultures and electronica. Major support for Synkro's music has come from names like Chris Coco, Giles Peterson, Mary Ann Hobbs. influences across a spectrum of bass culture and electronica. Having released with Exit Records, Brownswood, Styrax, Auxiliary & Med School, as well as remixes for Model 500, Snow Patrol, Lowb & a plethora more, Synkro has most recently found a home at R&S sister label ‘Apollo’. Major support for Synkro’s music has come from names like Chris Coco, Giles Peterson, Mary Anne Hobbs.

Flying in from Budapest for the event will be Gelka. Café del Mar artists since 2003, with more than 20 CDM compilation releases under their belt, compiling and selecting 2 CDM albums in 2016, Gelka are famous for delivering floating musical journeys, extending their musical scope in an original way. Their mash-ups and re-edits are amongst the top listened to mixtapes on Mixcloud ( Listen Here ). with more than 50K followers and a residency on the iconic Ibiza Sonica Radio expect the very best in ambient, future-downtempo, chilltronica, alt-R&B, deep-house.
