We are proper made up to announce Funk D'Void's first gig in Manchester since 2015 and hope you'll join us for some classic and future house and techno down in the bowels of the Whiskey Jar basement.
FUNK D'VOID
Lars Sandberg aka Funk D'Void is a living legend among the DJ Community and has been at the forefront of the electronic music scene for over 25 years. Most recognised for timeless cuts such as Emotional Content, Black Coffee, Jack me Off and the incomparable Diabla released on Soma Records, Lars has also remixed electronic giants Underworld, New Order and Detroit legend Kevin Saunderson.
Lars joined the Immigrant family in the early 00's via his remix of LA based techno supremo John Tejada and is currently working on a new project for the label and has European DJ dates confirmed with label manager Robin Porter.
ROBIN PORTER
Robin has been running Immigrant Records since he arrived in sunny California during the mid 90's and continues to DJ, produce and spread Immigrant's house infused techno to crowds around the world today. Recently, Robin has been focusing on his new production project with his US counterpart Mike Carr under the alias HYDRAFUNK with a slee of releases and remixes scheduled for 2017.
JASON FROST
A seasoned professional with over 30 years experience, Jason Frost (Frosti) cut his teeth as part of many of Manchester’s hottest nights. An Ibiza veteran with tons of experience playing at venues in Finland, festivals + parties in the Scandics.
He has infected the club scene with his unique style. People eagerly embrace his sound, an eclectic mix of breaks & grooves, with a soulful dubby vibe.
