Um mit doppelter Antriebskraft dem Herrentagstreiben Richtung Kosmos Blank zu entfliehen, fusioniert die wave-partyreihe Subspace heute Nacht mit dem Italian-Dance Label Slow Motion.
Zu diesem Anlass wird das Niederländische Live-Duo Rude66 heute Nacht hier den Release ihres neuen Albums zelebrieren. Die Elektro-EBM Künstler prägen bereits seit Mitte der 80er Jahre von Amsterdam aus die gesamt-europäische Elektro- und Acidhouse-Szene und veröffentlichen seitdem einen unverwechselbaren lo-fi acid und dystopischen new wave Sound auf Labels wie Bunker Rekord und Crème Organization. Seit 2007 betreiben sie darüber hinaus mit dem Amsterdamer Ausnahmekünstler „I-F“ den Radiosender Intergalactic.fm und touren ungebrochen erfolgreich mit ihrem dynamischen Live Set quer durch die Welt. Ihr neues Album, aus dem sie heute auch live performen werden, ist vor wenigen Wochen unter dem Namen „From Reason to Ritual“ auf Bordello A Pagiari erschienen.
Wem derweil nach etwas fröhlicheren Zukunftsvisionen zumute ist, der kann beobachten, wie Slow Motions heute Abend die Lobby als rundum italo-disco Spielplatz auszuprobieren. Dazu haben sie unter anderem Rodion und Francesco de Bellis aus Rom eingeflogen. Francisco begeistert seit Mitte der 90er Jahre mit einem einzigartigen ekletischen Mix aus Advanced Italo Disco, groovy Chicago House und Old School Funk und hat unter anderem auf Labels wie Klaxson, 2020Vision, Eskimo, Slow Motion erstklassige Disco Scheiben veröffentlicht. Rodion, ehemalis ein erfolgsversprechender Pianist auf einer renomierten katholischen Musikschule, kombiniert sein klassisches Training heutzutage mit extravaganter Italo Disco Musik, die sich irgendwo zwischen der Deepness von Lindstrøm und den syntheziser funk von Breakbot bewegt und angereichert ist von dramatischen Melodien italienischer Hoorofilme, japanischer Science-Fiction Sountracks und 70er Jahre cosmic music culture. Der “new genius of Italian Dance music” (Mixmag/UK) ist außerdem eine Hälfte des Disco Duo’s „Alien Alien“, veröffentlichte 2011 sein Debut-Record „Black Guru“ auf Slow Motion und wird heute Abend live auf der Lobby spielen.

Tonight, About Blank’s wave night Subspace will use Berlin’s public holiday to team up with Berlin hottest Italian dance label Slow Motion.
For this occasion, we invited the Dutch electro artist Rude66 to Berlin, who will celebrate the release of their album with us. Rude66 has been shaping Europe’s Electro and EBM music scene since the mid-80s and have been releasing a unique sound of lo-fi acid and dystopian wave music on labels such as Bunker Records and Crème Organization. Since 2007, they are also co-hosting Intergalactic.fm together with the Amsterdam-based electro master “I-F”. Their new album, from which they will also perform tonight, is called “From Reason to Ritual” and has been released a couple weeks ago on Bordello A Parigi.
Everybody who is into more happy future visions can meanwhile experience how Slow Motion is turning the lobby floor into a full-fledged italo-disco playground. For that, they have invited Francesco de Bellis and Rodion from Rome. Francesco is playing an eclectic style of music combining advanced italo disco, groovy chicago house and old school funk since the mid-90s and keeps releasing disco records on labels such as Klaxson, 2020Vision, Eskimo, Slow Motion. Rodion, once a scholar at a famous Catholic music school, is now combining his classical training with modern freaked out disco music. His music is oscillating somewhere between the depths of Lindstrøm and the synthesizer funk of Breakbot, flavored with the dramatic melodies of Italian horror movies, Japanese science fiction animation soundtracks of the 70’s and the cosmic music culture. Besides his solo project, the "new genius of Italian Dance music” (Mixmag/UK) is also part of the sweaty disco duo “Alien Alien, has released his debut record in 2011 on Slow Motion and will play a very special live set tonight.
