Twinpeaks (Haruka + DJ YAZI I Tokyo)
TWIN PEAKS는 “Future Terror"의 레지던트 DJ HARUKA와 아방가르드 힙합 집단 Black Smoker Records의 DJ YAZI 2명으로 구성된 즉흥 음악 유닛이다. 심플한 B2B로 시작된 세션은 다양한 시대/장르의 음악을 삼키면서 서서히 기존의 DJ 스타일에 얽매이지 않는 하드웨어를 도입한 하이브리드 세트로 진화하였다. DJ로서 풍부한 경험을 살린 아이디어와 믹스 기법을 활용하여 즉흥에서 최면적 그루브를 내포한 앰비언트 사운드를 만들어내는 이들의 라이브는 일본 국내에서 큰 호응을 얻으면서 METASPLICE, DEMDIKE STARE, FELIX K, SHAPED NOISE등 세계의 모던 전자 음악의 선구자들과 함께 무대에 서오고 있다.
TWIN PEAKS is an improvisational music unit, which is consisted of two members: HARUKA, the resident of Future Terror, and DJ YAZI, the artist of avant-garde hip-hop organization Black Smoker Records. It started with simple B2B sessions, however in the process of embracing various ages and genres of music it gradually turned into a new hybrid set with hardwares which is not tied up by conventional DJ styles. With the ample DJ experiences and mix skills, they created a new type of ambient sound with dope grooves. Their live performances received strong responses from the local scene, and led them to the stages with pioneers of international modern electronic music artists, such as METASPLICE, DEMDIKE STARE, FELIX K and SHAPED NOISE.
DJ YAZI (Black Smoker Records I Tokyo)
고순도의 딥트립 뮤직을 내세우는 위협적 집단 블랙 스모커・Think Tank의 오리지널 멤버 / DJ이자 Black Smoker Records 주최의 파티 ”El Nino”의 레지던트 DJ이다. 90년대 중반부터 활동을 시작한 DJ YAZI는 힙합의 멘탈리티, 테크노의 황홀감, 하우스의 안정감, 덥과 재즈의 흉포성 등을 결합하면서 자유자재로 조종하는 올 라운드 DJ이다. 플레이할 때 그 만의 그루비한 믹스, 정확한 두 개의 데크 사용부터 특별한 스크래치 기술까지 역동적이면서 흔들림 없는 일관된 스타일과 철저한 안정감, 그리고 플로어를 독자적인 색으로 물들이는 것으로 같은 씬의 동료들로부터 뜨거운 총애를 받는 남자이다. 정규파티를 주축으로 하며 지키고 있는 철저한 현장 중시의 자세는 관동 일대 씬의 중심적 공간에서부터 일본 각지로 까지 그 활동의 폭을 넓히고 있으며, 여러 밤의 끝들을 자신만의 색으로 아릅답게 물들이는 동시에 확실하게 뒤흔들어오고 있다.
DJ YAZI is the original member / DJ of Black Smoker・Think Tank, a menacing organization which represents high purity deep-trip music. He is also the resident DJ of "El Nino", the party organized by Black Smoker Records. Since mid-90s DJ YAZI has been mixed the mentality of hip-hop, thrill of techno, euphoria of house and savagery of dub and jazz and demonstrated himself as an all round dj. His groovy mix, perfect use of two decks and special on point scratch skills keep the floor with dynamic yet consistent style. His perfect stability with his own aesthetics make him to earn enthusiastic support from the people in the scene. His intense site-specific stance makes him to expand his stages from his regular parties to major spots of Japanese Kanto area and also to various venues in Japan, and he has dyed numbers of dawns with his own color and rocked them thoroughly.

서울의 언더그라운드 컬렉티브 파티 CMV. 5월 12-13 양일간 Constant Value, Mystik, Vurt가 연계하여 세 개의 컨셉의 파티와 콘서트를 엽니다. 도쿄 Future Terror의 Haruka와 Black Smoker Records의 DJ Yazi가 스페셜 게스트로 참여하여 solo dj / band live / duo improvisation의 세 가지 다른 형태로 음악을 들려줄 예정입니다.
CMV. Seoul's underground collective party. Constant Value, Mystik and Vurt, the three underground music clubs/crews, will host a special parties and concerts with three distinctive concepts between May 12th and 13th. Haruka from Future Terror and DJ Yazi from Black Smoker Records, both from Tokyo, will join as special guests and perform in three different forms, solo dj, band live and duo improvisation sets.
