Sagan Club presents: Javier Varez (Alma Soul Music)
Those of Sagan Club are experienced astronauts who already have a certain age, those of taking from time to time a free end to be calm and be able to rearrange a little all extraterrestrial experiences; but every now and then the “niqui” bites, the fatigue disappear and we come up and we organize a party on Thursday, so to vary and give a joy to the body. That is why, when we considered the possibility of organizing a new cosmic sarao on Thursday, we did not hesitate and released in unison a very big YES.
We already had the day - which will be next Thursday, June 1 - and now only the guest, the leit motiv, was missing. We did not have to break our heads because the name Javier Varez came to mind, one of the soul Soul Music capos - a well-known Madrid label where we can find many carats (both vinyl and digital) and Where he has also published some of the work of our resident Hyman Bass - and producer and DJ of wide experience and quality (apart from a guy who is nicer than pesetas and a mental horn, factors that always like to encourage a party)
And we just needed to round up the poster and for that we will have our Residents Defense of Excess, who had not been together for a session in B2B plan and already wanted to get out into the arena and warm up the staff a little with their “tonadillas”

Los de Sagan Club somos unos experimentados astronautas que ya tienen cierta edad, de esos de tomarse de vez en cuando un finde libre para estar tranquilos y poder reordenar un poco todas las experiencias extraterrestes; pero de vez en cuando nos pica el niqui, se nos pasa el asobine y nos venimos arriba y organizamos alguna fiesta en jueves, por eso de variar y de darle una alegría al cuerpo. Por eso, cuando se nos planteó la posibilidad de organizar un nuevo sarao cósmico en jueves, no dudamos y soltamos al unísono un SI bien grande.
Ya teníamos el día – que será el próximo jueves 1 de junio – y ahora sólo faltaba el invitado, el leit motiv. No tuvimos que rompernos mucho la cabeza porque en seguida nos vino a la mente el nombre Javier Varez, uno de los capos de Alma Soul Music - reputado sello madrileño en el que podemos encontrar house de muchos quilates (tanto en vinilo como en digital) y donde también ha publicado algún que otro trabajo nuestro residente Hyman Bass – y productor y DJ de amplia experiencia y calidad (y aparte un tipo más majo que las pesetas y un cachondo mental, factores que siempre gustan a la hora de animar un sarao).
Y ya tan sólo nos faltaba redondear el cartel y para eso contaremos con nuestros residentes Defence of Excess, que ya llevaban un tiempo sin juntarse para una sesión en plan B2B y ya tenían ganas de salir al ruedo y calentar un poco al personal con sus tonadillas cósmicas y houseras.
