The Japanese party mayhem Kampai Bakas returns to Distortion 2017 on a brand new location: Egegade 20 near Elmegade and Skt. Hans Torv. It’s the original one-of-a-kind, beat-whipping, bass-dropping, rhythm-throbbing street party experience spiced up with Japanese craziness! Building on our Distortion history since 2010 our very own Kampai Bakas resident dj's delivers mind blowing tunes along with cold beer, heavy smoke, strobes, lanterns and loads of Japanese atmosphere (maybe even a Geisha or two). So drop by from 16.00 and enjoy the vibes under the tree tops in our Japanese garden and prepare to break the asphalt dance floor a few moments later : )
About Us:
Kampai Bakas has had the privilege of delivering great party experiences with a Japanese twist at the Copenhagen Distortion festival since 2010. It has always been a blast! Our vision continues to be to deliver a unique slice of Japanese club atmosphere accompanied by state of the art sound and electronic music. To achieve this we have always kept a strong emphasis on decoration, gimmicks, and physical settings. A key element is our location that has made it possible for us to provide both a dance floor and a cosy “Japanese” garden while avoiding the bad acoustics of small enclosed streets.
The Kampai Bakas team consists of a skilled team of DJ’s, designers, sound engineers, and other creatives with a common passion for awesome Japanese culture and electronic music. We will do whatever we can to deliver a unique experience to you.
