On Friday, July 28th, Prototype will be joined by two of the UK’s most exciting producers of recent years. Currently residing in Berlin, George Fitzgerald has released music on a wide array of labels such as Hotflush, Aus, Hypercolour and Double Six Records. In 2011 he started his own imprint, Man Make Music, serving as a platform for himself and his peers to release on, with Shenoda, Leon Vynehall, Trikk, Lazlo Dancehall, Fold and LA’s own Natan H. As a DJ he has earned a reputation for flawlessly bringing together the warm and melodic sounds of house with the dark and heavy sides of techno. Over the years, George Fitzgerald has consistently played at Europe’s club and festival circuit, largely shying away from the West Coast’s clubs, until now where he’ll be appearing intimate setting of Lot 613.
Also joining us from Berlin and making his Los Angeles debut is the UK born, house and techno aficionado, Youandewan. In recent years, Youandewan has continuously proven himself to be an emergent force to be reckoned with, both inside the studio and behind the turntables, putting forth numerous releases on Will Saul’s highly esteemed label Aus Music. His style is one that has an unabashedly emotive and ephemeral sound that makes his music refreshingly original, unique, and easily recognizable as being signature to Youandewan. Getting the night started at Prototype will be the mastermind behind LA's Far Away parties, Cooper Saver, going back to back for the first time with Man Make Music DJ Natan H.
