So inspiring was London’s dance culture that she began to explore music production to bring her own captivating style of deep, emotive house to the masses. As a classically trained pianist, she picked up it easily and by late 2008 was already starting to produce her own tracks as well as collaborations. Her work has already garnered interest from independent labels as well as received airplay on radio such as Select UK Radio – a testament to her skill, unique style and ear for engaging music. Alongside production, Russian-born KatrinKa is already making waves in the DJ world, having played at clubs such Lightbox, Light Bar, Elysium (Northampton) and with regular appearances at Ministry of Sound. She can be heard playing a variety of genres from deep house to techno, as well as lounge, nu disco and tech house. With a musical pedigree such as hers, it won’t be long until we see KatrinKa performing her own tracks in the clubs of London, Europe and beyond. After being signed to Al Bradley's 14 year running label -3am Recordings Noseur's debut EP Legion Strut was showcased in London's iconic Fabric and all over Northern Germany. Their second release - a remix for fellow 3am Recordings artists Black Blooms on their track 'Metropolis' - the remix hit the top of the label Beatport chart in a matter of weeks being played on National radio from Tel Aviv to New Zealand. The duo split amicably in 2015 with both artists pursuing their music individually. fourfourfour remained with 3am Recordings and was given the pleasure to remix Al Bradley's excellent track 'Night Owl' that fulfilled a life-long ambition and was released on Vinyl, distributed by Juno in Apr 2017 - it crept into the top 15 in the deep house chart, selling out on decks.de and still going strong. To gain exposure Al Bradley asked once again fourfourfour to remix an exclusive track for Data Transmission - remixing the superb 'Kindergesicht' ….it reached over 3500 plays and downloads in a matter of weeks. fourfourfour has been playing all over the london circuit in early 2017, playing London's Lightbox, playing alongside Maxine Garman and Hot Creation's very own Jey Kurmis. April saw fourfourfour deliver in the iconic Egg, London basement for the Deep Inside boys, and then May sees him especially selected to bring his deeper side of ambient techno and house to the intimate Basing House, London for the Akbal Music showcase- where he will warm up with upcoming DJ, Producer and friend LA Sam, Julian Amour, label owner and BPM festival favourite Robbie Akbal, and label success Death on the Balcony. They come from distinct musical backgrounds with tastes ranging from old school anthems from Ibiza heydays to bass music with roots in their hometown Croydon. This combined into a joint passion for moody and melodic vibes found in different techno and house sub-genres. Under separate aliases, the two have scored releases and hosted radio shows. As CR0E, Metin Parlak has been released on Carypla Records with his EP ‘101’ featuring the single ‘Fives & Twos’, which successfully topped the label’s bestselling chart on Beatport for a year. Following ‘101’ was the single ‘Critical Function’ which, compared to the pounding mainroom techno of ‘101’, marked a more melodic turn complete with raw techno rhythms that set the scene for future productions. Under his Grey Raven alias, full-time wax collector Pawel Serafin hosted a vinyl-only radio show on London’s Scream Radio where, along with guest MCs, he shared the very best of old school dubstep, grime and roots reggae, bringing a love for diverse bass-driven sounds under a neat two-hour umbrella week in, week out. The pair kicked off 2017 with a tour around South East Asia, with 20 gigs across Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam. Ticking off iconic venues such as Koh Phangan’s Mellow Mountain and Haad’rin Beach, home of the Full Moon Party, as well as playing a six-hour set at Cambodia’s Train Time Festival in Kampot. In London, the two have supported the likes of Andrade (Bon Vivant, Karat Records) and Sakro (Bon Vivant, Raum...musik) for their Bon Vivant Label Showcase at Basing House in Shoreditch, as well as being regulars at the CAVE parties hosted in the basement of Birthday’s in Dalston, featuring headliners including Dekker and Benedict Jackson. https://soundcloud.com/cr0eandgrey https://www.facebook.com/CR0EandGREY/ ********************************************* ************ Expect this unique, energetic duo to really step up in the months to come.
