After experiencing Berghain resident, Etapp Kyle in the techno temple last year we decided then and there that if he brought just an ounce of the electricity he ignited that night to Corsica this October, our mission in life would be achieved! Etapp’s love for dark, dynamic sounds and seductive grooves is fully shared by us 5th Day team and his sublime ability to take charge of a room, propelling everyone towards techno heaven (a one way ticket unless your feet are firmly grounded) is second to none. As a Klockworks roster front-runner, with multiple releases on the same label, Etapp has marked himself out as a truly prolific artist and, quite uniquely in our view, one which delivers a sound embracing the deeper, more restrained side of things – a side we like to hang out on as often as possible - and heck does it do it for us! He is also the man responsible for one of our absolute favourite podcasts - we’ll take any opportunity we can to share this absolute masterpiece! In October we will welcome the legend that is Takaaki Itoh to Corsica Studios, all the way from the land of the rising sun, and holy heck, we can hardly contain ourselves! The crème de la crème of unique, distinctive, trippy techno, Takaaki delivers some of the most stimulating and bedazzling sets going, sitting in the driving seat of leading-edge techno (as well as Japan's now thriving underground scene) and oh so humbly and gracefully championing the way with natural ease and beautiful, sophisticated skill. The same praise can be afforded in equal measure to his music making abilities, demonstrated via his wide array of productions and remixes which have found themselves on labels such as his very own Wols, as well as Planet Rhythm, Stimulus Records and Modularz - all exhibiting his unique style in powerful, poetic form. To witness him in action is, let’s face it, a rarity and a treat and what's more, he’ll be working room one's sound system for a closing set, the result of which we know will be the true definition of compelling!

This October we've decided to split our headliners across both of Corsica's rooms so you can expect to find the Agentinian brothers, YYYY delivering a dynamic 3-hour hybrid set in room 2... we can feel the buzz in the air already! The pair don't make it any secret that joining forces on music has strengthened their bond to new, sacred levels, which guarantees the sincerity and feeling behind and consistently portrayed through their work. What’s more, their shared desire to strike a relationship between "control and chaos" when performing, to "transmitting a message of unity, depth and transformation", whilst being fully dedicated to seeing where creativity in the moment takes them, makes for a powerful and unmissable experience. We love their courageous, boundary pushing style and eclectic taste, meaning you can most likely expect a journey which encompasses techno, industrial, atmospheric, dub and drone influences.
