Fiesta numero uno this week combines two pinnacles of Berlin's clubbing scene for a certain bomb of a night. The first is Get Physical, the electrohouse label founded by DJ T. (present), M.A.N.D.Y. (present) and Booka Shade (not present – boo) celebrating six years in the biz. The second is the Watergate club, with its riverside views and disco ceiling. Get Physical's latest pop tarts Nôze are also playing live. Nicolas Sfintescu from the French duo let us bend his ears.

Get Physical are turning the big six. How did you hook up with them?

I first met Philipp from M.A.N.D.Y. who I found to be very nice with a good music culture and very interesting. That’s why we decided to sign with the label because we liked his view on music, you know? He’s not 100% into minimal, he has this culture of pop music which we really like.

What six words would you pick to describe them?

Friendly, professional, funny, sexy, especially Philipp…

If they were giving out party bags, what would you put in them?

Champagne, and condoms.

What’s the best kind of birthday cake?

Pierre Hermé. It’s one of the best patisseries in France.

So what are you going to do for your live show?

We sing, play music, drink vodka…

What’s the best bit about it?

The girls. That’s one for the afterhours… but sometimes, during the show too.

What’s your favourite tune that you’re going to play?

'You Have to Dance'.

So have you been to Watergate before?

Yeah, once before to see DJ T. It was a good party. The place is nice because of the windows and the good crowd. The sound is also good so I think there is going to be a good atmosphere. The lights on the ceiling are also pretty cool.

What’s the naughtiest thing you’ve ever done in a club?

We are not naughty, no no. We are good boys.

Sure, we believe you. Are you going to be the only French playing that night?

I hope so.

And what do Frenchmen have that men from other countries don’t?

Elegance. And a nice president.

You’re probably right about that. Finally, what on earth does Nôze mean?

It means ‘I don’t know’ in Spanish (laughs). Actually it doesn’t mean anything. We needed to find four letters…

Wax:On at Digital

Credit crunch victims Wax:on bounce back with the Newcastle debut of Ricardo Villalobos plus Cocoon's Tobi Neumann. Also on the bill are organizers People Get Real who are celebrated artists in their own right, playing upfront party electro. The club itself has a crisp Funktion One rig and... a Kombi van, apparently, that you can sit in.

Inner city pick: Head down to Volume on Hunter Street, an all-in-one space for art, clothing and accessories.

Panik Off at Elysée Montmartre

French promoters Panik crash Elysée this week with Soulwax and a bunch of their mates. The Belgian trailmaking duo will be playing leftfield rock as Soulwax before morphing into 2manyDJs to bootleg it up proper. There's more dancey rock from Das Pop and the Parisians, and, um, rocky dance with Yuksek and Fluokids - timely cross-over antics that should keep the locals satisfied until the next Ed Banger get-together.

Inner city pick: Les Caves De Nîmes on Rue Des Trois Frères nearby is a one stop shop for top French fromage, vin, et saucissons; the mere thought of it makes you speak in French.

Planet Delsin at 11

There's not much time left to catch this beloved eleventh floor club in action before the whole block is blown to smithereens (and not metaphorically by a wicked bass drop, unfortunately). Delsin Records' final 11 bash is typically warm and Detroit-ey headlined by the evolving analogue riffs of techno's answer to Zorro, the red-masked Redshape and support from Detroit flagbearers Vince Watson and Mojuba boss Don Williams. Essential purist material.

Inner city pick: Hire a pedal boat from in front of the Rijksmuseum and pedal around the canals.

The Gallery at Ministry of Sound

Ex-Turnmills folk The Gallery move to Ministry for their first event, bringing with them a high-powered lineup of progressive heroes: Renaissance's man-from-Japan Satoshi Tomiie, British superclub heroes Dave Seaman and Nick Warren, and Steve Porter in the bar.

Inner city pick: The Cans Festival (Banksy's tunnel exhibition) has finished, but the graf is still on the walls at Leake Street, near Waterloo Station; a showcase from some of the world's best graffiti artists.

Permanent Vacation Night at Baalsaal

Ow! Disco is back, and Permanent Vacation records are bringing their lot down to one of Hamburg's premier clubs. They don't have a lit up dancefloor, but they do have spadefuls of feel-good factor and groove, as will be shown by Only Fools and Horses, and Tensnake (live) as well as a retro-neon VJ set from Aufderlichtung. All brought bang up to date for those of us under fifty.

Inner city pick: The Speakeasy denim bar in Neustadt serves beer and jeans. Seriously.

Merkwürdiges Verhalten Im Grünen at Im Eichlehen

It means 'Strange Behaviour in the Country', which gives you a good idea that, first, it's outdoors (duh) and second, the music (house) will have a bit of an odd, leftfield flavour. Star of DEMF 2008 Guillaume and the Coutu Dumonts headlines with a live set of minimal funk, Âme spins classy deep house with Frankfurters Vera (from Mara Trax) and Raum... musik head Dorian Paic leading the way. Lush. Pace yourself for the carry-on at Robert Jonson.

Inner city pick: We Got Soul on Weissadlergasse: a clothes shop that doesn't carry known brands, and only works with young designers.

Olmeto Ibadan Special at The End

The record industry might just crash tonight as no fewer than four label heads get together for a quality night of deep, soulful, yet deadly serious house music. End residents Layo and Bushwacka! (Olmeto) host Jerome Sydenham (Ibadan), Will Saul (Simple) and Jimpster (Freerange) in one of London's most atmospheric and intimate clubs across three floors. This is tastier than the sausage sarnie you'll have when you wake up the next day.

Inner city pick: Pop along Oxford street to Phonica records, the capital's number one outlet for more four four.

Deepspace at Fabric

François K transplants his Deepspace party from Gotham City to room one of Fabric this week joined by Brendan Moeller's dub techno live project Beat Pharmacy and flying Dutchman Martyn. Soma records hot shots Slam are in the laser-tasm that is room 2, and Panorama Bar resident Prosumer and Crosstown Rebels' Matthew Styles will be upstairs in room number three.

Inner city pick: Tate Modern gallery on the South Bank is one of the best places in Britain for modern art, it's free, and it has cool stuff in its massive turbine hall as well.

Saul Williams, Hercules & Love Affair & Cut Chemist at La Cigale

One of our picks this week is a sit down gig, gasp! But don't worry, there's a reason for it. Emotive political street-preacher Saul Williams performs in a beautiful old French theatre backed by nu-disco darlings Hercules and Love Affair, turntablist and sample-splicer Cut Chemist, and bouncy guitar jacking from the Noisettes. And who ever accused us of being too niche.

Inner city pick: Antoine et Lili just around the corner for fruity, tasteful and not-too-expensive fashion for the girls.
