„Smile for a while“ was a party collective in Frankfurt am Main / Germany, established by Daniel Tischer & David Tzschentke in January 2011. The parties are focused on Oldschool House & Techno played by innovative international acts and hand-picked local artists from the greater Frankfurt area. While looking for new local talents we came across lots of promising artists from Frankfurt, producing high-quality electronic music that undeservedly was pretty much unknown, so far.
As there's a real lack of oldschool-flavoured Deephouse labels from Frankfurt, but obviously a real scene for this genre, we decided to release some of that music on vinyl. in 2015 50% of the label moved to Berlin.
