DCMB Records is a crew and label that was born out of a desire to give back to the vibrant electronic music scene in Berlin. Co-founders Filipe Dionysos Santana and Nuno Roque, both Portuguese-born residents of Berlin, began by hosting events at iconic venues like Berlin Ballhaus, where they combined live visual arts with music to create an immersive experience for attendees. The name DCMB is a nod to the four cities that have played a significant role in the development of electronic music and rave culture.
Since its inception, the crew has grown to become a respected name on the scene, with a roster of exciting young artists, a label and a regular event schedule that has taken them to venues like Anomalie, Ritter Butzke, Remise, Birgit, Bulbul, Beate Uwe, Chalet ,Burg Schnabel and many others. They are hosting two event series "Find Your Roots" and “ALT_F4”, showcasing their artists and providing the best techno music experience for the attendees.
With sounds ranging from high-speed techno and groovy hypnotic beats to progressive house and downtempo, DCMB Records serves up a diverse array of electronic music for all tastes. The crew's goal is to create memorable moments on the dance floor and to continue to evolve and grow as they take little big steps towards a brighter future.
