- The New York-based Future Times affiliate will release his debut LP next month.
NYC producer Motion Graphics will release his debut self-titled album via Domino in August.
Joe Williams works with Future Times label boss Max D as part of the group project Lifted, which had an album on PAN last year. He's also collaborated with Software artist Co La and composed an original score for 12 O'Clock Boys, a 2013 documentary about urban dirt bike crews in Baltimore.
Williams produced his self-titled debut using "custom randomized software instruments," Domino says, "mimicking the erraticism of the Twitter timeline and the aggregated news feed, while incorporating elements of techno-pop and jazz, sequenced through the superhuman capabilities of a computer." He also sings on many of the tracks.
