- The LP was inspired by a stay in the UK town of Dungeness.
Oliver Ho will head to L.I.E.S. to release a new album called The English Beach as Broken English Club.
The English Beach will be the UK techno veteran's first release on Ron Morelli's outlet for gritty house and techno. It sees Ho stretch out across 12 experimental techno tracks that represent a sonic portrait of Dungeness, a coastal town in Kent that Ho visited recently.
Broken English Club is one of a number of Ho's aliases (others include Raudive, Veil and Zov Zov). Rooted in industrial and EBM, The English Beach will be the project's second album, following 2015's Suburban Hunting. It lands digitally and on vinyl on June 15th. A book about Dungeness will also be made available.
