- Full Pupp will release the Norwegian producer's debut this May.
Be A Man You Ant, the debut release from Norwegian producer Andre Bratten, is due out on Prins Thomas' Full Pupp imprint this May.
It's somewhat rare for a dance music producer to debut with anything longer than an EP, but that's precisely what the Oslo-based beatsmith has done. A bit like Todd Terje (with whom he shares studio space) on that producer's ARP 2600-worshipping Inspector Norse EP, Bratten used a single modular synthesizer as his primary sound source on Be A Man You Ant. As you'd expect, the album pairs lush analog melodies and noisy squelches with the laid-back disco shuffle often favored by his countrymen. According to the press release, Full Pupp will issue Be A Man You Ant exclusively on double vinyl.
